The burden of living as a film editor is perceiving the frame before and the frame after at the same time. From that vantage, intention becomes unavoidable.

For example: How does one survive the tyranny of vertical screens when the work itself is horizontal? Sure, the industry says “make it responsive,” yet somehow convinces itself that reboots are original ideas.

I’ll be honest. I didn’t design this site for pinch and zoom. Not because I hate mobile, I don’t. I just don’t care to. I put in my time to make this site seen, not squinted at between trivial reels and existential despair.

I recommend kindly opening this on a proper screen.
